ROADSIDE PICNIC is a Seoul-based independent studio, but our work definitely goes beyond this region.

QUESTBEAN

로스팅 전문 브랜드 QUESTBEAN의 원두 패키지 디자인을 맡아 진행했습니다.
원두를 자동으로 담아주는 로터리기에 맞는 사이즈를 고민하고 여러 번의 테스트 끝에 1Kg와 250g 패키지를 완성하였습니다. 깔끔한 인상과 명확한 정보 전달에 중점을 두어 작업하였습니다.
We developed QUESTBEAN’s coffee bean package and sticker design with print management. The key focus of the package design was to deliver a clean impression while ensuring clarity of information.


 
1Kg 패키지에서는블렌드 구분을 위해 블렌드 별로 메인 색상을 달리 적용했으며, 납품처에서 패키지를 세워두거나 눕혀 놓는 상황을 고려해 5면 중 하단을 포함한 3면에 색을 배치했습니다. 이를 통해 어느 방향에서 보아도 직관적으로 블렌드를 식별할 수 있도록 디자인했습니다.
Each blend was distinguished by color, and to accommodate both upright and horizontal placement, the color was applied across three faces of the package, including the bottom. This allowed the blends to be identified intuitively from multiple viewing angles.







250g 패키지는 블렌드 별 원두 함량 데이터를 와플 차트 방식으로 시각화한 뒤 그래픽 요소로 적용했습니다.
For the 250g packages, the coffee bean composition for each blend was visualized using simplified waffle charts and incorporated as graphic elements. This approach ensured that the information remained clear while maintaining a clean overall package design.
