ROADSIDE PICNIC is a Seoul-based independent studio, but our work definitely goes beyond this region.
We dive into graphic design, woodworking and fabrication design, and film & video projects — especially when it comes to visual identity, brand design, promotional videos, and films across various fields
On top of that, we run a solid-wood brand called FORT NOW. We also handle structure design and installations as well.

OIL TANK CULTURE PARK

Pale Blut Dot 김자움 디자이너와 함께 문화비축기지 공원 내·외부의 시설 정보를 알리는 디자인 작업을 진행하였습니다.
석유에서 문화로 재탄생한 문화비축기지의 아이덴티티를 스텐실 서체로 강조하고 통일감있는 라인 픽토그램 개발하였습니다. 또한 비축기지 내 탱크들의 정면, 측면, 윗면을 기호화하여 상설 배너에 활용하고 장소적 특성을 고려하여 파이프와 스텐레스 스틸로 사인물과 안내판, 거치대 등을 제작하였습니다.
In collaboration with Pale Blue Dot, we have worked on signage and information design for Oil Tank Culture Park. We emphasized the tanks with the stencil typeface to reveal the identity of the park well and developed a unified pictogram. 
For the banners of Oil Tank Culture Park, we visualized the front, side and top of the tanks with symbols and used as graphic patterns. We also fabricated the banner stands using pipe hardware to be durable and sturdy inside the tank as well as outside environments that are heavily influenced by nature.
